The further you pedal, the more you need a bike that won’t let you down. With its fourth-generation Bosch CX drive system, high-capacity 750Wh battery and dependable Shimano 1×12 gears, the CUBE Kathmandu Hybrid EXC 750 has got your back. For leisure, for commuting, for exploring the world… it’s the ideal companion.
The Kathmandu Hybrid EXC 750 features CUBE’s largest-capacity battery, so you can ride for longer. They’ve kept all the best bits, like Bosch’s fourth-generation CX drive system, and added the reliability and huge range of Shimano’s Deore 1×12 gears – which will help you tackle any route with ease. Powerful four-piston Shimano hydraulic disc brakes have the stopping power to keep you safe in all weathers. A suspension seatpost, adjustable stem and air-sprung Suntour suspension fork ensure you’re comfortable, even for long days out. And the Integrated Carrier 3.0, mudguards, lighting system and kickstand give you the tools you need for any errand or adventure.
FRAME Cube Kathmandu Hybrid EXC 750
Designed for comfort, versatility and durability, the Kathmandu’s frame – whether you choose the Men’s version, the Trapeze or the Easy Entry – incorporates a high-capacity Bosch battery for the best possible range. Efficient Comfort Geometry works exactly the way you’d expect it to, meaning you can pedal in comfort for miles and miles. And the Integrated Carrier 3.0 is as strong as its predecessors, but even better integrated with the rear mudguard for an elegantly understated look that you’ll love – and it’s the perfect way to add accessories and carry whatever you need with you.
Technologies
Efficient Comfort Geometry
With CUBE’s specially designed Efficient Comfort Geometry, cycling is a simple pleasure. Whether you’re popping across town or exploring further afield, taking a ride with the family or with friends, for work or for pleasure – CUBE has created a ride experience that will have you coming back for more.
Gravity Casting
Gravity Casting moulds liquid aluminium into highly complex frame sections, resulting in extremely strong structures that can better withstand stress. For their Hybrid models, for example, CUBE was able to produce a motor mount that’s optimised to cope with the loads placed on it in this specialised application, without adding unnecessary weight or sacrificing strength.
Boost 148
A wider hub makes a stiffer wheel, and a stiffer wheel means better handling. That’s the thinking behind the Boost 148 rear hub standard, which allows wider flange spacing for better wheel performance without impacting on shifting accuracy or drivetrain efficiency. Simply put, you can go faster and harder with better handling and stronger wheels.
Full Internal Cable Routing
Full Internal Cable Routing takes the clutter of external cables and consigns it to the past. CUBE has started from scratch, designing frame and handlebars to accept gear and brake cables internally so that nothing interrupts the bike’s clean lines. It’s neater, it’s more aero, it protects cables from damage and it reduces maintenance. All the wins!
Integrated Carrier 3.0
The Integrated Carrier 3.0 is the next level in system integration: from the side, it’s hard to tell where the luggage carrier ends and the mudguard begins. But it doesn’t just look good, it’s also incredibly strong and rigid. With an integrated spring clamp and CUBE Rilink ready adaptor for mounting bags and baskets, it transforms your CUBE into an adaptable and versatile load carrier.
Modular Battery System
In many ways the battery is the heart of an e-bike. That’s why, with CUBE’s Modular Battery System, they’ve made a setup that’s easy to use. You can charge the battery on or off the bike, and they’ve made room for even high capacity batteries. You’ll wonder how you ever managed without it.
