There’s only one thing better than a great mountain bike, and that’s a great mountain bike that’s also comfortable. The CUBE Stereo ONE22 Pro takes CUBE’s renowned suspension kinematics and repackages it in a bike that’s fun, easy to handle and comfortable for trail explorations, wherever they may be.
The CUBE Stereo ONE22 Pro sets the baseline for comfort, control and agility on the trail. How it does that? With its RockShox Judy Silver air fork and Manitou Radium Expert air shock for bump-smoothing duties. Powerful Magura MT Thirty hydraulic disc brakes harness the tenacious grip of Schwalbe tyres to keep your speed in check. And Sram’s NX Eagle 1×12 transmission’s huge range and ease of use puts the right gear for any trail just a click or two away. It’s got the trail smarts to take you further. Are you up for it?
Frame size XS comes with 27.5″ wheels, sizes S, M, L, XL are 29ers.
FRAME Cube Stereo ONE22 Pro
Like all CUBE frames, the Stereo ONE22 is all about providing the best performance at the lowest possible weight. Hydroformed tubing is triple butted to save as much weight as possible without sacrificing strength. The tapered head tube and Boost 148 rear axle ensure steering precision and excellent pedalling efficiency. And it’s all built around the Efficient Trail Control kinematics and a 130mm fork, with Agile Trail Geometry putting you firmly in control at all times. There’s even a SizeSplit XS option with 27.5 in wheels for riders who are shorter in stature, but don’t want to compromise on performance.
Technology
HPA
High Performance Aluminium is designed for high end use. Higher strength is achieved by using a special alloy in combination with a hardening heat treatment. Triple or even quadruple butting of the raw aluminium allows us to use the minimum quantity of material, because wall thickness can be adjusted according to load. CUBE has also uses specifically designed hydroformed tube shapes. The combination of all these production processes results in the creation of stiff, high performance frames with unique looks.
Boost 148
A wider hub makes a stiffer wheel, and a stiffer wheel means better handling. That’s the thinking behind the Boost 148 rear hub standard, which allows wider flange spacing for better wheel performance without impacting on shifting accuracy or drivetrain efficiency. Simply put, you can go faster and harder with better handling and stronger wheels.
Efficient Trail Control
CUBE’s Efficient Trail Control series works in the background so that everyone can have more fun on the trail. A low leverage ratio and linear compression rate are the technical way of saying that these bikes are very sensitive to trail obstacles, whilst remaining insensitive to pedal-induced bob and giving a full range of travel.
Advanced Hydroforming
CUBE’s high end aluminium frame models are built using Advanced Hydroforming. This manufacturing process uses high pressure fluid to change an aluminium tube’s shape, making the best use of the material’s properties and maximising strength whilst miminising weight. It all helps reduce the number of welds, resulting in a frame that performs and looks better in every way.
SizeSplit
The right bike should fit you perfectly. That’s why CUBE has created SizeSplit: To be able to offer frames with the optimal fit and at the same time agile and reliable handling, CUBE uses 27.5 inch wheels for shorter riders. And, for taller riders, CUBE has built a range of sizes around the fast-rolling 29er wheel standard. Whichever one you choose, you can be sure of a fit that makes your bike feel as though it was built just for you.
Agile Trail Geometry
Agile Trail Geometry is a development of CUBE’s popular and well received Agile Ride Geometry, with a focus on riders who enjoy pushing their limits on the trails. By lowering standover height and allowing more room for the rider to move around over the bike, CUBE has created a setup that rewards adventurous line choices. Because, after all, it’s all about having fun.
