Keeping the rubber side down on steep, rowdy trails can be a challenge, but it’s what the CUBE Stereo Hybrid 160 HPC TM 750 was built for. With its rock-solid handling, enduro-inspired kinematics and the added power of Bosch’s smooth drive system, it’s the all-mountain all-rounder that’s got ‘game changer’ written all over it.
Ride further, faster and steeper than ever with the Stereo Hybrid 160 HPC TM 750. Rock-solid handling from Fox’s 38 Float Performance fork and Float X Performance piggyback shock is matched by the smooth power delivery of Bosch’s fourth-generation drive system, backed by a high-capacity 750Wh battery. Magura’s MT7 hydraulic disc brake system – featuring two-piece discs – works with the Newmen Performance wheelset and Maxxis Assegai 2.5in and DHR II 2.4in tyres to help you keep the rubber side down, always. And the remote dropper post and precise-shifting Sram GX Eagle 1×12 gears put even the toughest of trails within reach.
FRAME Cube Stereo Hybrid 160 HPC TM 750
An enduro-capable bike with Bosch power? You’d better believe it. The Stereo Hybrid 160 HPC’s carbon main frame is built to house the Modular Battery System – including a battery up to 750Wh – and fourth-generation Bosch drive unit, in a full range of sizes to suit almost every rider. Practicality is key so, for example, there’s room for a bottle cage, and the battery cover has push-button access. On the handling front CUBE has incorporated race-inspired geometry, a Boost 148 rear end and 1.5in head tube for on-demand cut-and-paste line choices, no matter how rowdy the trail. With a trunnion shock mount, oversize linkage bearings and internal cable routing, you can be assured of minimal maintenance downtime and maximum trail fun time.
Technologies
Boost 148
A wider hub makes a stiffer wheel, and a stiffer wheel means better handling. That’s the thinking behind the Boost 148 rear hub standard, which allows wider flange spacing for better wheel performance without impacting on shifting accuracy or drivetrain efficiency. Simply put, you can go faster and harder with better handling and stronger wheels.
Universal Derailleur Hanger
One standard for all: gear hanger replacement made easy thanks to the innovative Universal Derailleur Hanger. With a design that includes some room for pivoting to help prevent chain jams, it improves shifting performance and works with all drivetrains. Best of all, it’s a standard part that is available anywhere.
Full Integrated Battery
The Full Integrated Battery system tucks the power of Bosch’s battery out of sight, safely inside the confines of your bike’s downtube. Hidden beneath a splash and dust-proof cover and secured with a lock to prevent theft, it allows us to design beautiful e-bike frames that are as brilliantly functional as they are good to look at.
Efficient Trail Control
CUBE’s Efficient Trail Control series works in the background so that everyone can have more fun on the trail. A low leverage ratio and linear compression rate are the technical way of saying that these bikes are very sensitive to trail obstacles, whilst remaining insensitive to pedal-induced bob and giving a full range of travel.
Advanced Twin Mold
CUBE’s Advanced Twin Mold process for the C:62®, C:68® and C:68X® carbon frames uses two precisely manufactured forms. The first form is to ensure an accurate layup. The second, inner form keeps every individual fibre precisely where it needs to be while the frame cures. The result is a significantly lighter, stronger frame, with fibre density tailored to anticipated loadings at specific points.
Modular Battery System
In many ways the battery is the heart of an e-bike. That’s why, with CUBE’s Modular Battery System, they’ve made a setup that’s easy to use. You can charge the battery on or off the bike, and they’ve made room for even high capacity batteries. You’ll wonder how you ever managed without it.
Agile Trail Geometry
Agile Trail Geometry is a development of CUBE’s popular and well received Agile Ride Geometry, with a focus on riders who enjoy pushing their limits on the trails. By lowering standover height and allowing more room for the rider to move around over the bike, CUBE has created a setup that rewards adventurous line choices. Because, after all, it’s all about having fun.
Advanced Internal Cable Routing
Gear and brake cables need a way to get from handlebar controls to frame – but what if there was no need for holes near the head tube? CUBE has came up with a design that takes cables into the frame via the headset, maintaining full internal cable routing but making it even neater and less obtrusive.
