FRAME Cube Stereo Hybrid 120 SLX 750
The Stereo Hybrid’s sleek frame is full of clever touches to make CUBE’s popular, Bosch-powered trail explorer better than ever. The Modular Battery System tucks the Bosch battery – up to 750Wh – out of sight, and out of the way of dust and water. Integrated cable routing isn’t just neat, it also means there are no cable holes in the head tube. The refined four-bar suspension system keeps you isolated from trail shocks for ride-all-day comfort, and the whole lot is wrapped in CUBE’s Comfort Geometry – with a stiffness-enhancing Boost 148 rear end and 1.5in head tube – for easy handling, plus SizeSplit makes it simple for every rider to find their perfect match. CUBE has even made it simple to add accessories like mudguards, a luggage carrier and a kickstand. It’s ready for pretty much anything. Are you?
Technologies
Boost 148
A wider hub makes a stiffer wheel, and a stiffer wheel means better handling. That’s the thinking behind the Boost 148 rear hub standard, which allows wider flange spacing for better wheel performance without impacting on shifting accuracy or drivetrain efficiency. Simply put, you can go faster and harder with better handling and stronger wheels.
Gravity Casting
Gravity Casting moulds liquid aluminium into highly complex frame sections, resulting in extremely strong structures that can better withstand stress. For their Hybrid models, for example, CUBE was able to produce a motor mount that’s optimised to cope with the loads placed on it in this specialised application, without adding unnecessary weight or sacrificing strength.
Full Integrated Battery
The Full Integrated Battery system tucks the power of Bosch’s battery out of sight, safely inside the confines of your bike’s downtube. Hidden beneath a splash and dust-proof cover and secured with a lock to prevent theft, it allows us to design beautiful e-bike frames that are as brilliantly functional as they are good to look at.
Modular Battery System
In many ways the battery is the heart of an e-bike. That’s why, with CUBE’s Modular Battery System, they’ve made a setup that’s easy to use. You can charge the battery on or off the bike, and they’ve made room for even high capacity batteries. You’ll wonder how you ever managed without it.
SizeSplit
The right bike should fit you perfectly. That’s why CUBE has created SizeSplit: To be able to offer frames with the optimal fit and at the same time agile and reliable handling, CUBE uses 27.5 inch wheels for shorter riders. And, for taller riders, CUBE has built a range of sizes around the fast-rolling 29er wheel standard. Whichever one you choose, you can be sure of a fit that makes your bike feel as though it was built just for you.
Agile Comfort Geometry
No matter where, no matter where you go – your riding enjoyment and comfort is important to CUBE! That’s why CUBE has developed the Agile Comfort Geometry: a fine-tuned blend of reliable handling, durable ride comfort and an intuitive, natural position on the bike. This makes every ride a real pleasure!
Advanced Internal Cable Routing
Gear and brake cables need a way to get from handlebar controls to frame – but what if there was no need for holes near the head tube? CUBE has came up with a design that takes cables into the frame via the headset, maintaining full internal cable routing but making it even neater and less obtrusive.
