Don’t be fooled by its understated looks – the Cube Stereo ONE22 HPC SLT 29’s trail-taming ability is awesome. CUBE’s acclaimed suspension kinematics are aided and abetted by a Fox 34 Float Factory fork and Float DPS Factory shock, both featuring Kashima coatings for enhanced bump sensitivity.
The remote dropper post gives better control on tough trails. Shimano’s powerful XT hydraulic disc brakes, grippy Maxxis tyres, light Newmen Advanced carbon wheels and ultra-light Schwalbe inner tubes offer staggering grip and stopping power. And Shimano’s peerless XT 1×12 transmission – powered by an E13 TRSr carbon crank – combines a huge range, super-precise shifting and unmatched reliability.
FRAME Cube Stereo ONE22 HPC SLT 29
The Stereo ONE22 sets the bar for comfortable trail bikes pretty high. The Stereo ONE22 HPC moves it higher still by incorporating a light, stiff and elegant carbon front triangle for reduced weight and even better handling. The short rocker, covered pivot bearings and efficient kinematics deliver superb traction, comfort and control. There’s a tapered head tube and Boost 148 rear axle for precision handling. And our Agile Trail Geometry always has your back, so you can keep the rubber side down and the fun factor up.
Technologies
HPC
HPC – high performance carbon – enables CUBE to build lighter, stronger and stiffer frames out of this incredibly versatile material. Using a combination of careful frame design and variable lay-up thickness, CUBE is able to fine-tune the performance of each frame to precisely meet their requirements for weight, stiffness, strength and durability.
Boost 148
A wider hub makes a stiffer wheel, and a stiffer wheel means better handling. That’s the thinking behind the Boost 148 rear hub standard, which allows wider flange spacing for better wheel performance without impacting on shifting accuracy or drivetrain efficiency. Simply put, you can go faster and harder with better handling and stronger wheels.
Efficient Trail Control
CUBE’s Efficient Trail Control series works in the background so that everyone can have more fun on the trail. A low leverage ratio and linear compression rate are the technical way of saying that these bikes are very sensitive to trail obstacles, whilst remaining insensitive to pedal-induced bob and giving a full range of travel.
Advanced Twin Mold
CUBE’s Advanced Twin Mold process for the C:62®, C:68® and C:68X® carbon frames uses two precisely manufactured forms. The first form is to ensure an accurate layup. The second, inner form keeps every individual fibre precisely where it needs to be while the frame cures. The result is a significantly lighter, stronger frame, with fibre density tailored to anticipated loadings at specific points.
Agile Trail Geometry
Agile Trail Geometry is a development of CUBE’s popular and well received Agile Ride Geometry, with a focus on riders who enjoy pushing their limits on the trails. By lowering standover height and allowing more room for the rider to move around over the bike, CUBE has created a setup that rewards adventurous line choices. Because, after all, it’s all about having fun.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the resulting persistent disturbances in global supply chains, the illustrations and equipment information may differ from the actual bicycles.
